Dominant Hanlon Cracks The Top Fifty With "Timber."
24/02/2025

That talented Robert Hanlon has broken into the top forty once more with “Timber: U.S. Marshal: Blood Will Run When Six Men Die,” his latest and most exciting adventure yet written with M.C. Boisclair and filled to the brim with the kind of adventure that talented Hanlon has been known for since he broke onto the Western writing scene so many years ago.
With Hanlon busier than ever and working with almost everyone, it seems, he looks likely to have his biggest sales year yet and he’s doing everything possible to keep up with a readership that is demanding more daily from him. But that’s the way it goes for the biggest Western authors—readers want more and they will keep demanding until they get their way, and that is their right. They’re the ones who call the shots.
Robert Hanlon currently has three “Timber: U.S. Marshal” adventures on the charts—with “Timber: U.S. Marshal: Blood Will Run When Six Men Die” looking set to be the biggest of this crop. And don’t forget he has a new one heading to market later this week. You won’t go without your fill of that talented Hanlon and that dangerous “Timber.”
What Is This One About?
On his usual rounds hunting cut-throats and killers, TImber rides into Wichita Falls after two weeks on the dusty trail. The first thing he discovers is that the local bank has been robbed and the bank manager has been killed. Timber is asked to hunt down the bank robbers and bring them to justice. But, like everything in Timber’s man-hunts, nothing is as easy as it seems.
The trail takes them north into the Indian Nations where Timber and his posse discover a bunch of dead Comanche, and it looks like some other Comanche may have committed the crime. Timber soon discovers this is far from the truth. When two of his own men of the posse kill two more Comanche braves in cold blood, Timber has a problem on his hands. He must keep the Comanche from killing these men who he is forced to protect in order to bring them to trial before he can resume his hunt for the bank robbers.
To make matters worse, the chief of these Comanche is none other than Quanah Parker. The famous Quanah sends two of his own men along with Timber to hunt down the killers of five of his own tribe. One of these Comanche is Rain Dance, who is a white Comanche, and has special orders of his own from Quanah.
Orders Timber knows nothing about. Orders that could put Timber under a dirt blanket.
